Resource scarcity

How can we use fewer resources and still accomplish more?

The forest industry utilises renewable resources sustainably. Its processes use the scarce materials and energy carefully and efficiently. Thanks to their recyclability, wood fibre-based materials remain valuable raw materials even after use. Finland has a long tradition of using wood responsibly. Smart and systematic forestry practices will ensure sufficient resources, also in the future.
