8. Personalised cartonboard packaging for sports events
Consumers want ecological packaging in at event venues. MM Kotkamills and Pyroll Packaging have collaborated to produce a cardboard serving set for the Tammela Stadium in Tampere, and the FC Ilves team playing in the Finnish Premier league. In the new beverage and food packages, the focus is on visuals. With digital printing, the packaging can be tailored to the needs of all types of events. In sports events, atmosphere and spirit are strongly present, and an attractive tableware set emphasizing togetherness can make the event even more meaningful, personal and responsible. The packages are made of MM Kotkamills’ easily recyclable cup and folding cardboard. The raw material used for the cardboard is wood from sustainably managed, certified forests. After use, the cardboard containers are recycled, so that their wood fibre can be reused as raw material for other paper or cardboard products.
